Furthermore, it is compatible with all TecroStar mezzanine ranges through the same anchorage. This railing model can be used as an extension to higher railing models, as the cross tube can be connected to the handrail of the telescopic railing by adjusting its height.

One aspect to consider before installing the low railing is that it does not meet the normal height requirements, as it is designed for those mezzanines where headroom is limited, such as attics and/or other low ceiling rooms.

If you want to install the telescopic railing on the S-range mezzanines on a secondary beam, you must buy an Angular Strut S for each one of the posts to be installed.

When the railing is to be installed on a secondary beam from any of the M/L-range mezzanines, it will be necessary to purchase an Angular Strut M/L for each post.

When this railing model is bolted to an XL-range mezzanine (specifically on a primary beam with reinforcement), you must purchase an Adapter for accessories in primary beam XL for each railing post.

    Tecrostar mezzanines and stairs are supplied with everything you need to install the kit at its maximum surface area or height.

    Are the railings compatible among the different ranges?

    No, they aren’t.

    Can the height of the railing be reduced?

    Yes. This modification is on behalf of the customer. It is possible to cut the railing and reduce its height.

    Does one flank of railing cover an entire side of the mezzanine?

    That depends. The railing kits are 2 meters long. You will have to calculate how many kits you need.

    What are the colours and finishes available for the railing?

    The handrails of the railing* and the stairs** are available in aluminium with the following finishes:

    • Silver anodized (without additional cost)

    • Black lacquered (additional cost)

    • Wooden effect (additional cost)

    In all cases it is suitable for outdoor use.

    * The handrail of the loft bed railing is made of beech plywood.

    ** The spiral stairs have necessarily high-density polyethylene (HDPE) handrails in black colour.
